W B McInnes Portrait

According to file notes for the 1926 Archibald Prize, the subject of this portrait was a man with a riding crop. An article in The Sydney Morning Herald on 15 January 1927 described him as a 'full-length figure … in scarlet coat and hunting boots, and with whip in hand’ and called the portrait 'exceedingly forceful, and well harmonised’.
