Craig Waddell Hungry Hollow

Hungry Hollow is the name we gave to a mystical place on my late grandparents’ farm in Galston. It’s a place where my siblings and I would escape to throughout our childhood, where my imagination was awakened and flights of fantasy were given free reign. With my studio now located on the farm, I work in a landscape flooded with childhood memories: a constant source of inspiration and resource for my practice. Hungry Hollow is part of a new body of work that explores the notions of life, death and love.
