Theo Papathomas Constructed landscape

The Australian landscape has an immense spirituality, which I have evoked in my constructed landscape by using my own language of images, derived from trips to the outback.

The inspiration for this work is taken directly from the Australian landscape and my life experience. The images and symbols, which I include in my work, are completely spontaneous and intuitive without using any drawings as a guiding tool. I always try to charge my paintings full of emotion and spirituality, and transport the viewer into a new experience.
