Elisabeth Cummings Monaro shadow and light

I have spent a large part of my painting career living, travelling and working around the Australian bush. I find that each time I revisit an area, the changes that time and the seasons have created provide me with a fresh perspective on the ever-shifting Australian landscape.

I enjoyed some time working in the Monaro in 2014 and this painting is a response to that landscape with its particular qualities of shadow and light.
