My father’s aunt, Vera Wormley, married Albert Edgar Victor Gordon Earle. They spent their honeymoon visiting Fitzroy Falls [in the NSW Southern Highlands]. Ever since hearing that story as a child, I have had a soft spot in my heart for that special place. I hope my plein-air painting of it has done it justice.
