An object, sometimes extraordinary, sometimes ordinary, can tell a story or reflect on a watershed event. Relics from romantic attachments navigates the nostalgia or sentiment built into an object. Like any complex form of human behaviour, collecting objects to remind us of something important has many meanings, both at the level of the individual and of a wider culture. The most fragile aspects of these vessels have been elongated and exaggerated to create a bottle neck, in turn exploring the nostalgia placed on objects with functional values, turning memories into delicate things that could break.
