I chose my older sister, Georgia, as my subject as she is someone that I have always looked up to. Recently graduating from high school, she has moved overseas, away from the comfort of her Sydney bubble, looking at her future opportunities. This portrait represents freedom through nature and illustrating her small depicts the role of independence that was handed to her when choosing to move to study abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland.
