My grandma’s words, expressions and stories hold abundant wisdom and morals. Her past experiences have been continuously teaching me life lessons and simultaneously, inspiration and respect. The wrinkles on her face express her hardships, happiness and memories. Despite her weakened, delicate figure, she increasingly puts others before her. She offers warm hospitality to us and brings smiles to our expressions. In this ballpoint portrait, I have depicted my grandma in a field of lavender as it enabled me to illustrate her considerate and compassionate nature which has undoubtedly affected me.
