This is Associate Professor Mark Gianoutsos. He is a special person. I have a facial difference – amongst other things, he has built my missing jaw. He does his surgical work whilst I am sleeping, but he does his best work when I am awake – he has helped me to ‘face’ the world and feel confident. He is very calm. Prof Mark is my surgeon and he is my friend. I trust him. You can see that he is a good person, his hands are magic. What you don’t see is his kind and generous heart – that is what I see.
