Feng Lin Zhuo Animus iratus

This is a self-portrait of exasperation. It is based on an old picture of me crying when I was around three years old. I have chosen to paint this because it conveys the trials and tribulations of my young self, experiencing the world. The vivid red earthy tones used to paint the face reflect the frustration I felt at the time.
