Jessica Thompson Clare

This is a painting of my mum Clare. Sitting on the beach, windswept and hassled by the stormy day, yet always bringing light to situations with humour and love. Love for me, support for me. She is my motivation and, more importantly, my inspiration to strive to put my all into everything I do. Her eyes say it all, this picture embodies the essence of my mum in her most raw state. Calm blues against the raging grey sky, she is stunning.
