Aysha Huq Helima

Here is my grandma Helima, standing by the ocean for the very first time in her life. In this moment of solitude with the sand and sea, she is moved by how the simple things in mother nature sent a message that brought life into her soul. This is a moment I will keep in my memories, because the love she is placing in herself is the same love she gave my mum and me. My grandma taught me how to paint and express myself through art, and she will forever be an important figure in my life.
