Fearless transaction terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to transactions administered by the Art Gallery of New South Wales for the Fearless membership program, including membership purchases and renewals and, event bookings.

Background

Fearless is the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ program for women in business, government and the community supporting gender parity in the arts. Fearless is an events-based program offering members opportunities per annum to connect and engage with the Art Gallery of NSW exhibitions and activities, with a focus on women artists.

Funds raised from Fearless memberships support the restoration and preservation of works by women in the Art Gallery of NSW’s collection, as well as our exhibition program.

The Fearless Membership Details and these Terms and Conditions comprise the Member’s agreement with the Art Gallery of NSW.

Membership purchases and renewals

Fearless membership will become active on payment of the Membership Fee as set out in the Fearless Membership Details.

The Membership Term will start from the month the Fearless membership is purchased or renewed, or as otherwise agreed in writing with the Art Gallery of NSW Business Development team.

The Membership Benefits are as stated in the Fearless Membership Details.

Once purchased, a Fearless membership cannot be refunded or transferrable.

Any unused Membership Benefits will expire on expiry of the Membership Term.

The Art Gallery of New South Wales reserves the right to adjust membership prices without notification.

Art Gallery of NSW has the right to revoke a Member’s Fearless membership by notice in writing if the Member is convicted or accused of an offence or engages in conduct which in Art Gallery of NSW’s reasonable opinion, could bring Art Gallery of NSW or the Fearless Membership into disrepute.

Fearless Event bookings

These conditions apply to Fearless events organised and administered by, and booked through, the Art Gallery of NSW. Other conditions may apply to events, exhibitions and programs organised by the Art Gallery of NSW and its authorised agents and partners.

The Art Gallery of NSW reserves the right to add, cancel, reschedule, substitute or otherwise vary advertised events, including but not limited to presenters, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.

Guests must comply with the security arrangements for the Fearless event and venue.

All RSVPs for events are required seven days prior to the event date.

Covid

Provision of Fearless Membership Benefits are subject to the Art Gallery of NSW’s obligations to comply with government COVID-19 restrictions. The parties will agree on an alternative where Benefits cannot be delivered as stated and the Member accepts that the Art Gallery of NSW has no liability to the Member to deliver the Benefits as stated where this is impossible or impracticable due to Covid restrictions or otherwise.
