This beautiful room was designed by the official Colonial Architect, WL Vernon, in the late 1800s. It was opened as an exhibition space in 2005 and is named after two former presidents of the Board of Trustees, Frank Lowy and David Gonski.

Directions

From the front entrance, ground level

  1. Head through the vestibule into the entrance court
  2. Turn left just before the ticketing and information desk
  3. Continue past the Gallery Shop
  4. The entrance to the Lowy, Gonski Gallery is the last doorway on your left

Accessible directions

From the rear entrance, lower level 1

  1. Take the lift (on your left) up one level, to G
  2. Turn right into the entrance court and head towards the front of the Gallery
  3. Turn right after the ticketing and information desk and continue past the Gallery Shop
  4. The entrance to the Lowy, Gonski Gallery is the last doorway on your left
