About
Schiaminossi is recorded as a member of the Florentine artists' guild in 1596 but little is known about his career as a painter. His work as a printmaker extended to reproductions after other artists' designs as well as etchings of his own compositions. In 1612 he collaborated with Antonio Tempesta and Jacques Callot on the printed illustrations for the funeral book of Margherita of Austria.
