About
Art Centre documentation for this work states:
"Ngak Apelech means clear water in our language. Sometimes the fresh water is so clear in my Country that you can see all the way to the sand on the river bed. My clan is also called Apelech. We are the clear water people. We name our camp dogs after our clan group sometimes. The painting on this camp dog reflects the clear water over the sandy river bed."
