- Further information
The Maningrida Arts and Culture documentation for this work states:
"Kay Lindjuwanga has painted the billabong located near her outstation at Milmilngkan. The water comes out at Milmilngkan and there are springs there surrounded by water pandanus (Pandanus aquaticus) where the water comes out of the ground. This might be caused by the Ngalyod (rainbow serpents) which live under the ground there. The rarrk (cross-hatching) represents the country at Milmilngkan."
