About
Born and trained in Melbourne, Bob Jenyns' art practice encompasses sculpture, tapestry, printmaking, drawing and painting. Jenyns exhibited widely from the 1970s onward, including at the first Biennale of Sydney in 1973. He won the 2008 Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award and his work is in major public collections including NGA, AGNSW, QAG, TMAG plus other regional and university collections. Jenyns’ work often has an irreverent and humorous take, with images quoted from popular culture and naive art.
