Rembrandt 'Rem’ McClintock (1901-1968) was a lithographic artist and close friend of Max Meldrum (Graeme Inson’s teacher). McClintock was a devoted member of the Communist Party and worked with Noel Counihan in promoting the Artists’ Unity Congress in Melbourne in 1942. He was involved in the establishment of the Victorian Arts Council.
