Joshua Smith Lt Gen Sir Frank Berryman, KCVO, CB, CBE, DSO

This portrait by Joshua Smith of Frank Horton Berryman (1894–1981), an Australian Army officer who served on the Western Front with the field artillery during the First World War, then as a general during the Second World War, is now in the collection of the Australian War Memorial, Canberra. It is the second portrait of Berryman in the Archibald; the first was by Reinis Zusters in 1952.
