This portrait by John Bloomfield of screen writer, director and producer Tim Burstall (1927-2004) was initially awarded the Archibald Prize; however, the prize was later withdrawn when it was revealed that the painting was based on a magazine photograph. The work is now in the collection of the Art Gallery of NSW.
