Nora Heysen drawings

The first woman to win the Archibald Prize, Nora Heysen was also the first female war artist in Australia. Although best known for her paintings of still life and portraits, she also drew the male and female figure with great authority and sensitivity.

This exhibition displays many of her fine drawings, several for the first time.
